Chicken shows in Dekalb Illinois??

The family would love to go to a show and see old and new breeds of chickens. Is there any around the northern area of IL or southern parts of WI for 2025?? Other than local fairs?? Thanks all!

The largest poultry show in all of USA is the Ohio National Poultry Show. Held in Columbus Ohio in November over 2.5 days. Held every year. Thousands of poultry entries. You can attend just one or all days.

I’ve been to this show. Learned a lot just from walking the floor, watching shows, visiting vendors. Sales of poultry in an adjacent building.

It’s a drivable distance for you.

You can join American Poultry Association (APA). With joining this, you’ll get a book that details regions of APA in USA, meets in these regions, contacts for the regions, advertisements for vendors of products and poultry, and a lot (all?) breed clubs listed. Overall, a great resource, even if only join one year.
