How long does it take for a hen or rooster to become full size ? 1 year 14 months ? 16?

Varies somewhat by breed, of course. As an average, they reach their full height around 15 weeks but fill out some after that. Laying usually starts at 4-6 months but some breeds may not lay for the first year. You didn't ask about laying, I know, but the variation gives an idea of how much variation there could be in getting to full size.
