Chicken Stock/ Craft Stock for Nov. 8th Tractor Supply Milford NH

I had the scariest thing happen to me...we were driving down Rt. 32 near the airport in Swanzey last night and a HUGE 8 point BUCK ran out in front of ME....I slowed and stopped with him a NOSE hair from my bumper...he spooked and ran straight in front of the CAR coming from the opposite lane. SHE HIT HIM...that BUCK FLEW OVER THE TOP OF HER CAR and back BEHIND my car and the car behind ME hit it. We saw the whole thing...it was so completely violent. My kids were absolutely scared to death...I was FOR SURE the lady who hit him was hurt. I pulled my car up and put my flashers on and flashed my high beams because there were like 5-8 cars barreling down on her. I got out and ran down the road to check to see if she was ok....she was fine...but her CAR was totaled! BLOOD all over the road. He had to have died on impact...it was hit so hard. We were probably going like 45 miles per hour. I still cannot believe it missed US TWICE!

My middle child...said......HMMMMM I bet they are going to have a good DINNER tonight! We all cracked up laughing!! The lady that hit him I think claimed him and took him home....I bet he is going to be a tough eat with all that adrenaline!

I'm just going to stay home today!

D) they are in rutt

Thankfully ou were not hurt. those darned antlers make a mess of human flesh.

Last ear I hit one in my van going over to my daughters I wasnt going faster than 30 and the darn thing put an antler through the radiator, jumped up stuck his tongue out at me and ran off!

I saw it all in action...the buck ran right in front of her car impacted and slid up the hood onto her windshield and as she breaked....he flew back and behind my car. I used to work on an ambulance so I was always the one who was around after the fact...but seeing it in action let me teach my children something. They are and were super freaked out. They saw it all too...upset about the deer at first...but then thankful no one was hurt. They also got to see HOW fast it happens. We were all riding along singing christmas carols...the song ended...I told them all HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU GIRLS!! AND then BLAM.... It was eery how that played out...made ME really thinking about what I am truly thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday!!

Hope you all have a GREAT T-DAY!!

Now if that had been a moose it would have gone through her windshield - their legs are so long it puts the body weight at just the right height - thank goodness no one (but the poor deer) was injured!

OH....he WAS DEAD!! These guys came up and got out of their car and drug the deer out of the middle of the road. The buck really was a MONSTER...he was huge. They were all discussing who was going to 'get' him....and I left! LOL The lady could NOT have prevented it...it happened so fast.

I have had this allergy since I was in my early 20's.
I had had surgery and infection set in , unforutantely the drug of choice was pennicillian. the allergy became accute in a matter of days.
Luckily it became apparent in the hospital and was treated before anything bad could happen.

I also have a shellfish allergy so there for do not go to any resteraunt that sell shellfish and meat that doesn't come from an antibiotic free place.
Dunkin Donuts Veggi omlet is my best friend lol, if I have to go out to eat.
So few resturants offer Veggi anything. beside that I am terrified to go to any resteraunt .
On Vacation in Maine 3 years ago, we went out to eat with my sister and i had 1 ! french fry, next thing I knew I woke up in the hospital.
culprit, french fries were cooked in the same oil as the shell fish. never even gave it a thought , so now I avoid resturaunts.

Honestly I do not miss the expense lol.

Forgot to add, my oldest grandaughter is diabetic which makes the holidays a miserable time , no pies, sweets anything that will cause her sugar to spike.

how do you tell an 11 year old, no you cannot have pie, cookies etc when the other 3 can. I would much rather my allergies than her diabetes.

gypsy, there is a sugar free bakery in salem. everything is made with splenda and tasty. most of my family is diabetic. we will be getting stuff for thursday. they have pies and cookies. would you like more info? really sorry about your allergies. can not imagine how complicated that must make things.

Its not sugar that is the issue with a diabetic, believe it or not,
Its the Carbohydrates that create the issue.

breads, rices, anything really that is made with any type of flour is high in Carbs.

minute rice for example has 45 g carbs per 1/2 cup
Nabisco 100 calorie pack, PB cookie crisps have 17 g of carbs
Cassi is allowed 15g of carbs with out insulin compensation.

want to check out a real mind blower?
For example check out weight watchers diet prepared foods. " claim is they are "low calorie", ok thats fine, they are " lower" in calories BUT, it isnt the calories that keep you from losing weight it is actually the Carbohydrates, check their Carb count against " real " normal " food, also check their hidden sugar amounts.
Most Carbohydrates come from sugar.

http://www.calorieking.com/

check this link This person is the Author that the National Diabetic Association uses for guide lines for carbs, sugars, salts etc we comsume every day.

what cracks me up is diet, reduced calorie products have just as many sugar carbs as regular foods sometimes more.
