OooH I love the basket full of eggs! I won't have that many, but the idea of a basket for collecting is delightful. I checked out the other ideas too and I willl definitely keep my eyes open for just the right basket.

I need to reasses how many baskets I have, because I also have a basket exactly like yours, Miss Prissy!

I'm trying to remember where I got it, and believe it came as a gift basket, full of goodies, one year.

The ones from McMurray Hatchery are priceless. I didn't thing much about it when I ordered it and they said they were "hand-made". When mine finally arrived I almost sent it back thinking it was too nice to put eggs in but then I noticed it is actually signed and dated by the 11 year old girl that made it. That made it so special to me that I wanted to take it to the chicken house immediately.

I have about 3 months before I need one but now I have to go look for one hmmmmm never even crossed my mind of what to collect the eggs in..... How big of a basket do you think I will need for 19 BO and one EE?

I found a small peck size, split oak type basket (looks like a mini bushel basket) for my egg collection @ Michael's Craft store. They were 4$ and I used a 40% off coupon.. Cute and cheap==my favorite two things..

BUT if I find a woven split egg basket, I will purchase it...Dixie
