Went to the fair tonight after plans to go look at some goats didnt happen....that was a bummer. I figured i would possibly see a goat at the fair to purchase, but they only had a small tent with about a dozen Alpine goats and that was it! The ground had been all dug up where the goats barn usually is. LOTS of sheep to be had though! The chicken barn was not all that great a selection either. Lots of call duck in every color and mostly standard chickens and a few silkies. Oh and it was soooo cold! Dress in layes cause the temp dropped quickly!

We also went to the fair today. It wasn't too bad this afternoon.
I was also dissapointed in the poultry barn. I did see a couple of Partridge cochin roo's that I would love to have but I have too many roos now.
See we told you that you should have stopped the goat guy at Chichester swap before he left.........lol

I saw a frizzle roo that was really nice, and i am not a big frizzle fan, but he was very colorfull! I know, I should have gotten that pair of goats, but it was not meant to be I guess! I need to lower my chicken population first so that is my mission this weekend!

Tilton sounds like it will be a home run!!!! Especially if the weather holds out. i think that is the one I will do instead of draggin the babies out in the raw damp rain tomorrow then.
