was that 1 roo 3 hens? and what age group, i dont think he will let them go for that if they are laying ? from what i remember they are just starting to lay, but let me check with him and get back to you.

Yep, 1 roo & 3 hens if he can tell? I'll take young ones, but if he has a layer for sale I'll take 1~
I'm gonna start my own Java flock~

his ad says $8 each or if you buy 10 they are $6 each, so as soon as he replies i will let you know. they are the near laying age anyway. he will be happy that someone wants to work with them. your not going to candia on saturday are you??

My mistake~must be old age setting in

I'll go to Candia to pick up Javas! I have some Java eggs coming from NC, so they won't all be related.
Is it a regular swap, no setup fees?

Off subject for a minute~
My BF and I just bought 12 acres in Puerto Rico and we'll be moving to warmer, tropical climes in a couple of years.
Cool, Huh?

I still have 3 of the 4 I kept. Lost one suddenly a month ago for no apparent reason. But I still have 2 blacks and the one white. I'm not going to hatch any more until next year. I really don't want birds in all winter!
