CHICKEN SWAP MAY 23 MILFORD NH

I need to know how many doz eggs to bring Saturday?
barnyard mix and bantams,
I have bantams hatching as I type this and there is a penchant for blue Cochin's I already have one Cassi is keeping and I am not letting her see the one just hatched lol.

I have to wonder if the barred gene is like the chinchilla gene in a rabbit , seems every time I breed something chinchilla colored ( or barred) I get blue everything's!!

Now for some very bad news, got the results of the MRI on my hand, looks like I am going to lose a good amount of use of it, more than I already have.now for the nerve damage in my elbow, well that's not going to be fixed for a while, there is some issue with where the placement is right now, they want me to wear a brace to keep the arm from bending at all , they are oping the nerve will go back and behave itself.( doubtful is what he said ).
And there is to be an MRI on my neck as well as the shoulder, yep my whole right side is a mess by the sounds of it. Surgery on he neck is inevitable.
sooooo
All this means I have to give up the large rabbits.
French Lop, Silver Fox, New Zealand's and Flemish.
I am 2 steps away from being totally crushed.

I have almost 6 years of development into the Silver Fox,
Many are Grand Champion Rabbits, very hard work went into fixing the size and weights on this rare breed.
ETA: oops hit send before it was all done lol , just a bit upset here.

I will be compiling a list of what rabbits will be available for sale and post it up so everyone will know what to look for at the swaps.

Heartbroken here in Wilton

Oh Gypsy, how crappy is that? To lose so much:(

I'm taking a dozen of your barnyard mix eggs and am very interested in your French Lops...I used to raise them when I was a kid & they are the best bunnies!!
Take Care, we're all thinking of you I'm sure...you're like the backbone of this community;)

Gypsy, so sorry to hear about your medical issues. And sorry too that it means parting with your rabbits. We don't have rabbits, but we have cats and chickens---and we're real attached to all of them. I've always loved cats since i was a little girl, and unfortunately had to bury two cats in the last two weeks---rude drivers ran over them. My two oldest sons each lost their personal cat, UGH! Sometimes life throws sucky curveballs. :p We just got chickens this year...and i can't believe how attached we are to them already! I know you all know just what i mean! We don't have room for rabbits too, but i'm sure we'd get attached to them too if we had them. Again, i am sorry you have to give them up. Glad you can keep your chickens though.
I always say that things have a way of working out, even if differently than i had hoped or planned.

Today i am busy getting ready for this swap! Can hardly wait! Woohoo!
I am bringing plants---strawberries, batchelor buttons, some herbs, johnny jump-ups, and a few other odds and ends, including a few extra veggies i just can't fit in my garden!
I'm going to try to post a picture of my johnny jump-ups. They are like tiny pansies, and are very showy in full bloom right now. I have at least 5 differnt colors of them.
My husband has challenged whether i can fit everything in our van or not! LOL 13 yrs married, and he still doesn't realize that i can fit a lot in a little space! Hee-hee!
We have a maroon Pontiac mini-van. I just made a sign for it, that says HOWARDACRES, so you can find us. Our family of 6 will be there. We might bring our beagle, but still not sure on that.
See you all Saturday morning!

What colors and genders? One son really wants an orange female, but so far all we can find are orange males. He may settle for a calico, but orange is his first choice. I know you can't rehome until kittens are at least 8 wks old, but if he can get an orange girl, i think he'd wait. Let me know please. Thanks.
