Actually at this age its a dominance issue, one bunny letting the other know its stronger, bigger meaner etc, it will sort its self out.
usually Hollands are ready to breed between 4 and 6 months old.
the smaller the rabbit breed the younger they tend to be ready to breed.
Larger rabbit like French , Flemish mature out around 8 months old to 1 year old.
some french will wait until they are 18 months old before they are ready to breed.
My Grand Champ french Buck was like that 14 months old and he would look at a doe and say nope theres hay here to eat , go away.
I came home to 2 hatched out bantams and 3 more hatched out now, The oldest grandson is having a ball watching them come out of their shells lol, first time he has seen a chick hatch.
oh the storys he is going home to tell lol.
Ok good so that means cant get pregnant right? lol
Congrates on the new hatchlings.
LOL no not yet in about 4 weeks though all bets are off though.
I love hatching out the little bantams , they are so tough. heck I opened the bator and saw 2 open eggs but only one chick, got to lookin and low and behold when I opened the bator I flung the chick onto the cement floor, poor thing, picked it up and its like
lol put it back in the bator and it went on its merry way snuggling the other chick. must remember to open the bator slowwwwwwly.
