Actually at this age its a dominance issue, one bunny letting the other know its stronger, bigger meaner etc, it will sort its self out.
usually Hollands are ready to breed between 4 and 6 months old.
the smaller the rabbit breed the younger they tend to be ready to breed.
Larger rabbit like French , Flemish mature out around 8 months old to 1 year old.
some french will wait until they are 18 months old before they are ready to breed.

My Grand Champ french Buck was like that 14 months old and he would look at a doe and say nope theres hay here to eat , go away.

I came home to 2 hatched out bantams and 3 more hatched out now, The oldest grandson is having a ball watching them come out of their shells lol, first time he has seen a chick hatch.
oh the storys he is going home to tell lol.

Hi all, i had a great time today, even my husband enjoys coming with me now! I hope to make it to chichester on Saturday! i am suppose to be teaching a class, but wouldnt mind cancelling it and going to the swap instead!!!! I finally found out what the breed/color i am looking for is. Dutch bantam, in a milli lfuer porcelain color. I googled and saw pictures and there they were. i had a pair years ago and they stayed so tiny. Iknow where I can get eggs, but have no clue how to hatch them and I think my husband would draw the line at me bringing them to bed! hahahah! I really am hoping to set up mu handsculpted necklaces at the next swap so if anyone has a specific breed they would like to see, I need ideas!!! darleen
