Peterborough Agway sells food grade DE. It's an 8 pound bag, can't remember the brand name just now. Ask them and they can show you. If you want a bigger bag, Keene Horse and Buggy Feeds sells 50lb bags. They are on Dunbarton St off of Main St in Keene. Or at least I think it's dunbarton... I go there often enough, you'd think I'd be sure on that one, lol. Anyways, if you are coming from Rt 101 on Main St it is the first road on the right after Cumberland Farms. You can see the sign for Horse and Buggy as soon as you turn into the street.

We have just one pullet left to sell!

1- 6 week old Wyandotte/Golden Comet cross pullet (pale gold color) $5

We can also have some hatching eggs for anyone interested. They will be SL Wyandotte/Layer cross eggs. We did discover that the black chicks we hatched from our eggs are "purple chickens" meaning they have a metallic purple sheen instead of a beetle green sheen like most blacks. Anyways, hatching eggs will be $7 for 18 eggs and should include a few Wyandotte/EE cross green eggs.

Now that it is far late enough (or maybe just too darn early) I must get to sleeping so I will be back on tonight sometime.

Thanks Firedove! You have saved me from having to play the "no not the stuff for pools" game.

Glad your babies are doing well !! You can get DE at almost any feed store, they dont have it at your local one?? Are you using it to dust birds or to keep the smell in the coop down??

Hi swtangel, thanks for responding. I'm planning on using it as the be-all end-all, jeezus-merry&josuff of all substances. For the smell, dustin', egg-laying vermin of the insectoid variety, and for the dogs and US for internal parasites.

I asked at TSC in Milford, and found myself checking the mirror for an extra head when I was done. Firedove sez they have it at Peterborough Agway for sure.
