Chicken Swaps of N.H. Swap Listings

Hi everyone! So who is planning on going on Saturday? And what will you be bringing??? I just hope the rain stays away. I heard earlier in the week on Sunday that we would dry up but possibly rain for Sat. night into Sunday! We could all meet up and build an ark that we just float from swap to swap! LOL

I am hoping to bring the following for Saturday:
trio of birchen modern game, this years birds and laying. SQ Ipurchased from a lady from CT...think her name was Cindy at the Oxford show)

Pair of red pyle modern game, this summers birds, laying ans sweet!

Dark chocolate/chesnut(?) serama roo, with a pretty irridescent green sheen on his feathers

depending on how warm it is, I may be bringing some chicks too.

Possibly some of my handcrafted chicken themed jewelry!

Hope to see everyone there and keeping fingers crossed for warmth!

I have been contacted by several more stores in NH asking me to organize swaps for locations .
looks like more northern stores are going to be having swaps i'll let you all know as I get the dates

yes, the store owners choose the dates.

swaps are similar to yard sales. anyone can have one on whatever weekend they desire. we have no control over when people want them. the stores do what is best for them and their customer base. our hope is that with increased interest in swaps, there will be more first time chicken owners.

I guess it makes it closer to home for people that live in those areas, I know I like to have them closer to home, but on the downside ya never know what ya missed out on! LOL....not that I need anything else! I promised myself I was only picking up 2.....2....ONLY 2 this past Sunday at Shays, and ended up coming home with nine! Including my adorable midget white turkeys! Bot, do they grow fast!
