Thanks !
I pulled 3 eggs out (the week before they hatched infertile/undeveloped) and she cracked one 2 weeks before that ... but i think that's a pretty good hatch rate for my first timers
Here they are ... they'll get to try out free ranging later in the week

thanks so much for posting the photos. always nice to see the grandchildren. looks like you have a great mix. the black and white one looks like a bantam mottled cochin. you have bantams and large fowl. I see an easter egger. the nn is adorable. very.very cute
very welcome - i always thought that grandparents should at least see their grand children - you can show the pictures to the parents if you want but the adoptive mother thinks it'd be best for the chicks to not tell them until their older that they were adopted eggs
(hehehe)
I couldn't remember what you said I had in the mix
(lol mind just zero'd in on little fluffy butts
)... I actually had 2 "EE" eggs, one was a darker blue/green than the other - but i forget what the 3rd larger egg was. the first one that "popped" was the chocolatey/black chick
... and i saw the nn chick and i was like "what was that" (i've never had a nn before) but it's definitely adorable ! !
thank you !
