I am sorry we missed lunch today but there was just too much going on here that had to be taken care of.
Here are a couple of pictures taken earlier in the day. I tried to get everyone in and not put up duplicates. I am sure others showed up after but I got busy and couldn't get any more pictures.

Great pics Cheryl, thank you for not allowing me to block your shots with my fat azz ! LOL I tried so hard to convince Wayne to let me get that gorgeous turkey. I cannot believe it was only 25.00, I think if she still has it for next week, I am going to try and sneek it home! MAybe I will send him on a bike run and I will go alone! The coloring on its' head was so intense and what a talker compared to the other one! I meant to get a picture of that. I am glad the man with that awesome sumatra roo sold it because that was definitely coming home with me had he not. If the hen had been a pure sumatra, it would have been a no brainer, but I did not want just the roo and not be able to get a hen for him.

I really wanted the Mille pair the man had but Heather beat me to them. She did promise me some eggs though so that's ok.
We made out pretty good. Atleast we made up for the 70.00 cattle or horse waterer we got at the feed store the other day. It holds 100 gallons of water so it will be good to give the dogs thier baths when its not in use as a brooder...............

It has a plug at the bottom too for easy draining and cleaning. Donny has wanted one for a long time.

Did you check CL for one of those? What about an old tub? I have the milli's , I think you saw them today. I did sell the porcelain and the blue to the man that sold Heatehr the millis'...how funny is that! He was really nice, he was going to sell me the sumatra roo for 5 bucks because he wanted to leave just after he had gotten there! But then I think he was glad he stuck around talking to everyone. The guys next to you with the horse trailer were really nice too, we were chatting about tattoos because he does them and I was telling him how I do them too! I liked how he had his little "box o' chix" packaging! good idea for chilly windy days. I need to rmeember that for next time!

Yes it was cute but I was afraid they weren't getting enough air but when I checked it out he did have air holes on the sides for them.
He had good prices on them too but I am running out of brooders as it is. Especially ones that need lights on them.
I have no clue where I am going to put this next batch if I have a good hatch.

Yes, he had great prices, but they were mixed breeds so that is probably why. I wish I had bought the little mixed breeds from the gal with the turkeys that bought my splash OEGB's. They were really pretty. I think I might email her to see if she still has them.I think she comes to the swaps a lot. I am heading to the flea market to see if there is anything I can get for another brooder too. I love the galvinized tub I have been using because it warms up from the bulb too. I need to take away that 250 watt bulb, it is heating up the whole room! hahaha
