Yes, he had great prices, but they were mixed breeds so that is probably why. I wish I had bought the little mixed breeds from the gal with the turkeys that bought my splash OEGB's. They were really pretty. I think I might email her to see if she still has them.I think she comes to the swaps a lot. I am heading to the flea market to see if there is anything I can get for another brooder too. I love the galvinized tub I have been using because it warms up from the bulb too. I need to take away that 250 watt bulb, it is heating up the whole room! hahaha

I didn't see the mixed babies. I only saw the turkeys.
What flea market do you go too? I love to go flea marketing.
I would love to find another one for a brooder. Donny wanted that one to use for giving the dogs baths because it had a plug to let the water out also.

Does anyone have some fertile eggs I can come up and buy today (within 1/2 hour or so of Nashua)? (preferably EE or Maran). I have a very broody hen who might as well be sitting on some eggs that will actually hatch!!!! It has been three days now, and she just isn't going to give up, lol!--Gail

There is a big flea marlet right down the end of my road in Hollis. It is on both sides of the street. i got a rally nice pet carrier today, perfect for chickens! LOL Also a nice lot of jewelry for 5 bucks and they allways have awesome flowers and veggie plants too. Got a huge hanging petunia for 6 bucks. It would have cost around 20 at the garden center at least! Oh and of course I could not pass up the crypt keeper doll! Had to have him!

Yes, I used to like that one also years ago when I used to drive. Donny doesn't like stopping at yard sales or flea markets unless he see something he likes........lol
I should go somewhere today. 3 chicks hatched out this morning. I think two are from my frizzle girl x silkie and the other is from the eggs I got from the lady that heather bought the red hens from in Tilton. I can't remember if she said they were RIR or NHR's. It is only day 20 on these. I have been trying to keep busy so I won't be tempted to help them in any way. I don't want to let out the humidity and shrink wrap them.
