Chicken Swaps Of Nh ( May Listings )

Had a great day today.
Thanks greg for the two covers you made for the totes. I really apreciate you making them. Its alot better than just the wire and heavy enough that the chicks can't push them off. If I measure the big tote will you make one to fit that also?
Thanks Janet for the two beautiful Lt. Brahma's and April for the two gorgeous cochins. Your eggs went into the incubator when I got home with the Araucana eggs that I got from another vender. (Sorry don't know your name.) They will be due to hatch on my birthday June 13th. That would be the best birthday present.
The lunch at the Weathervane was very good also. I am still full.
I got home to six more babies hatched and another one almost out. I counted 4-5 more pips also. This is the best hatch I have had so far this year.

Is your daughter the one who has easter eggers already and wanted a little one ( not a white one) ?

If so we had the white one and I am so glad she found one to be her friend!!

Just showed the wife your photo and she got all choked up. She is very happy her hen got such a good home. She is half japanese and half silkie(the bird, not the wife.) She said to tell you that sometimes hens stop laying for a short time when they go to a new home. As soon as she feels comfortable she will do her thing.

She also said to tell you that the hens name is Madori.

Ok I sent my husband to the Chichester Swap to get two Easter Eggers. He came home with 5 bantams. They appear to be 4 polish and one mixed. Did anyone here sell them to him? I am just curious what they really are. He says four of them are polish but one looks only 1/2 polish. And he has no idea what the other is but it looks like my Easter Egger. I just want to confirm they are bantams as well. The woman he bought them from said they were banties and he thought that was great. He has no idea what banties are until I explained it to him.

My 6-8 week old full size chicks are starting to integrate with them although there is still the us vs them mentality in the tractor. But the new ones are VERY cute.

thanks

Yes aces chix that was us.... I wanted the white ee, but she wanted a friend to carry around, so "Madori" now "Katie" is fitting her needs perfectly. The other 7 (birds...not kids) will take a while getting used to her, but 'till then my daughter hasn't put her down often.
