For button babies I just crush up chick crumbles so it's very fine and they eat that and do well

Hoping to have ready for tomorrow:

Bantam Cochins in assorted colors (barred, blue, buff/red?, black)
d'Uccles in Milli Fleur, Porcelain, and blue
OEGB in splash, barred, crele, black
EE's in all sorts of colors
Ameraucana in several colors
Barred rock bantams

and whatever else I forgot to add to this list

Will also have 1 or 2 20 gallon long tanks (make great brooders)
Large guinea pig cage and possibly one small

can bring a 19" cutback saddle new, never used if there is any interest

Cant wait to see everyone in the morning and see what there will be!

Oh! And for those of you that have any luck with them, I will be selling my LG incubator. I have not used it that much, perhaps for 4 hatches last season and 2 this year so far, I had gotten a Hovabator last year and another this year. It works fine, but I just like the Hovabators better and this could also be used as a brooder or hatcher too.

hi Tammie, Janet here. are you going to chichester on the 22nd? if so, will you have any young button quail? I hatched 1 a couple weeks ago and it needs a friend. how old do they need to be before you can tell boy or girl?

Hi Janet,
Chichester is too far for me (just over 2 hrs). I'll be at Shays in Townsend next weekend and do have some baby quails that are about 1.5 weeks old. Will you be there? Usually you can tell boys from girls at first molt at about 2 months.
