a couple days ago I did something I have always wanted to do. I made a grower pen. I have a small coop with an attached run. I put all the chicks in it that are 5 weeks or older. they look so happy! there is so much room for them to frolic. most of the chicks in there will be going to the swaps.
I have 6 nh reds left that are 8 weeks old
2 broad breasted bronze turkeys
silkies
white
black
grey
partridge
splash
one buff orpington pullet
one mottled java/jersey giant
a bunch of little lionhead bunnies

I have some beautiful Wheaten Ameraucana cockerels looking for homes, 4 weeks old. From exhibition stock (John Blehm lines.) And a couple of Welsummer mixes (boys, alas...) Anybody interested???

So there is a man that was at pretty much every swap I went to, when I was going previously (haven't attended one in nearly 2 years) who always had alot of birds. Quail, ducks etc. and pheasants. Does anyone know if he still attends these swaps? I'd love to purchase more fowl from him. Older man, gray hair.. I have no idea what his name is! Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Just got the bator today so we are ready for eggs! Looking for BLRW, RIR, NHR, Black Minorca, Araucana, and other breeds. We are gonna have fun with this so if you have eggs, let me know what they are (but not mixed-breed please)!
Also, anyone bringing pullets or young adult hens? If so, what breed?
Bringing an awesome Broken Chestnut Mini Lop buck with me on saturday! PM for details, or you can just wait till this weekend
