Welsummers and BCMarans (not sure about the blues yet) are sexable at hatch. I will begin selling them when they hatch. The prices go up the longer I have to feed them

... ... I'm so bumming because I saw so many at the Poultry Show - I wished I had gotten a pair then because my friend had discussed having to rehome her duck - I should've anticipated that I'd be the sucker that ended up with her

I have not been to a chicken swap before. I just saw the Concord Agway listing for this weekend. I have a rooster that needs a home.
Can I just bring him and put a sign over him "Free"? He is a 6 month old silkie easter egger cross.

Will anyone be bringing Silkie pullets or hens or Polish or standard cochin pullets or hens?

(Pullets that are old enough to tell the sex as I have too many roosters.)

We will have a 20 week old white silkie hen

Possibly a 20 week old blue hen.

A black silkie (not old enough to sex)

2 Frizzled cochin chicks (about 4 weeks old)

1 white cochin pullet (16 weeks old)

Maybe a couple young white silkies (about 4-6 weeks)

We also have a couple pairs of young seramas we can part with (silkied or hard feathered)

I sent a pm to poultry run farms about you. she has calls and will be passing through the area in the near future. pm her and see if you can work something out.

I sent a pm to poultry run farms about you. she has calls and will be passing through the area in the near future. pm her and see if you can work something out.

We will be at the Boston Show on the 7th and going down the day before, have a few young grays left and one adult pair from last year.

That would be excellent

I was thinking of going down to the show to try my luck there anyway .

I did pick up a duck yesterday - was supposed to be a call duck

... but he's twice my ducks size ... my assumption is it's a pekin or a pekinxcall ... I'm really not equipped to have a larger duck - so he's probably going to have to be rehomed again
