LOL! My hubby says (and I agree) that's why I love Terriers so...same attitude
Our girls were rescues, the SIlkie had been in foster care for a YEAR!! So she needed a forever home. She was snarly and growled any time we told her "No" and went beserk whenever she heard kids voices, even on TV. She still growls every now and then, but it's her way of arguing or even showing pleasure! She growls when we're playing and I slide my fingers in her mouth, and she pulls away...still growling! lol SUCH a funny little girl. She is great with my grand kids, though were were VERY cautious for a loooong time before we trusted her with them. SHE still growls occasionally, but it's warnings that she's nervous, and will escape if things get too confusing for her...doesn't even try to nip!
The Aussie is simply a love...she loves kids, adults, visiting dogs, doesn't matter....she sees each new body as a chance to play with a new playmate!
We refer to her as our nuclear power plant in fur!
They're 6 and 5 respectively, and we look forward to many more years of joy with them
Yep...I am a succor for a terrier face, I just melt, because I know what's in the pkg!
Well, I need to go get some pics of the new chick for Chick Magnet...then I need to figure out how the heck to get them to post!
Not sure if these R fertile. I have no broody hen & I have not gotten an incubator yet. When UR ready let me know.
I have 2 move the Quails down stairs. the dander is getting 2 me. I didn't realize they would B as bad as chicks. I might B able 2 set them up with a bit more space down there.
I am in search of a polish hen in NH....Anyone know where I can look? I have one polish hen in with 12 other chickens but she is getting beat up the last couple of weeks. They did fine together for the 1st 6+ months but now the sexlinks, barred rocks and comets are attacking her routinely....I have seperated the flock a few different ways and no matter what the poor polish gets picked on. I have her now seperated in the coop but I want her to have a direct contact buddy. Thanks for any leads.
