And this is what popped out of my NH Red eggs.....guess this is what happens when there is an overactive Silkie roo in the pen....At least I think that what they are. I tried to keep tabs on what shells they were comming out of.

Sounds like the seller had someone jump a fence.

Cute mixes though. I've seen auctions from Catalpa Grove recently on ebay for bantam blue salmons, if you're still looking for eggs. At least you can trust them. Laura has a trio (quad?) out of their eggs also. Blue salmon roo and I forget on the hens. Maybe one salmon and one blue salmon?

yeah, i should have contacted them but by the time they hatched and feathered out some i didn't have his contact info to follow up on. they have been very sweet! i saw those Catalpa eggs too but i would have to wait for a broody hen or a new incubator to suddenly show up on my doorstep

last time i got eggs from them they were nicely packed but none of them hatched. i would have had 6 chicks but i am unsure what happened towards the end

Time for an incubator.

Brinseas are good if you want to stay small.

I had 10 out of 12 of their eggs hatch, and 7 were pullets. I didn't keep any, cause I really prefer LF. Laura and Sarah selected the best, and maybe next season they'll have good luck with them.

Hi there! Nice pics! Mine never want to pose. So is Beatrice still a brat? Bella was always a sweetie.

What did you use to get the frizzle? Going to work on those too? What about the cuckoo project?

What colors are you missing now, just white and blue? Or maybe you need some LF.

Cindy, what beautiful birds you have too. the colors on the roo and the muffs on the hen are way better than you usually see.

omg, there is nothing so cute as a showgirl chick. the first one is adorable

it is the color that turns into something special. I think it is coming out of the roo. I have seen that color out of multiple hens that I put with him this year.

one of these whites is mom and the other is auntie.
