How are you and Greg doing?
I have hatched out six Lavender Ameraucanas so far and more in the bator. My Silver Laced Cochins finally started laying and I have 3 in the bator that I just checked and they are fertile.

The two cochin girls I hatched from your eggs are in with the SLC's so its possible one of them may have laid an egg also.
I can't wait until the frizzles I got from Brandy and Joie start laying now.
Did I say 'I hate winter yet?" Well I do, I am freezing and it isn't that cold yet.

I think the cochins are LF......they are growing the same as all the other LF chicks in the brooder.
Yeah the Petes were in my room up until yesterday lol They were abusing the right to be stinky for sure. We have been sleeping with the window open hahaha.

I was thinking LF just because of the color.

I noticed you are still here. that is good. Jen needs the company and we all like you here.
greg and I are well. he is in bed getting ready to be out all night for the storm. I think it will be yuckie to go out in the am to feed and water. every night I watch the weather to see frozen waters or no frozen waters in the am
congrats on the chicks. I love the lavenders. I just put my lavender silkie hen in a pen with my lavender split silkie roo. my big frizzled cochin girls have started to lay. I put the rumpless aracauna in with them for the fun of it. did you end up keeping a pair of rumpless for yourself?

I keep the white xmas lights on inside of the coop for the lav's and cochins down here and I think that is why I am finally getting some eggs from them. The ones I hatched from yours should be laying soon if they haven't started yet.
I can't wait for spring to get here so I can see everyones babies............

They are up in the big coop with Jens chickens and she doesn't put a light on them so we probably won't see any until spring.
