oh.... I have it like 2 - 2 1/2 ' off the ground......

Put them on it and they may get used to it.

If the ropes are really long, the swing arc is more pronounced, some birds won't like that.

Actually my chickens are scared because I taught the head chicken a "lesson".

We hung the chicken swing today, now we'll see if they will use it! Our BOs are much more adventurous than the others so I can imagine they trying it out.

Well we decided to make a chicken swing and as soon as the first one tried it out they freaked and the swing started swinging wildly. Now they avoided at all cost so I took it down today.
