Chicken thought to be dead was seen in neighbors yard (.5 miles away). What can I do to get her back?

you'll find both a lack and an abundance in any part of the world.

Exactly. Although different places in the country... and world... have different culturally accepted methods for dealing with this type of problem.

If I saw one of my chickens up at my neighbors I'd be asking for it back .If they aren't coming to the door to speak to you and havent called you at the number you left then they have no intention of giving it back.
