chicken throwing up liquid?

Did she drink too much water?
How is she now?

Sometimes it can be just drinking too much water too fast.
Gently check her crop, does it feel hard, soft, squishy, doughy.

Check it when she goes to roost, then first thing in the morning. At night the crop should be full, the morning it should be empty.

i walked in while they were roosting and I saw her throw up the liquid. I saw her this morning and she was looking perky and out with the other chickens.

My chickens sometimes do that at shows when they are drinking or I pick them up too fast. It used to worry me, but then they go back to normal in a second.

My girls do that alot if it is hot outside and I bring out cold / ice water. My girls are silly, they go absolutely nutso for ice! They will climb up the front of you and out your arm for a cup if they know you have ice.

Had to edit to comment to Wyorp Rock, your avatar of your Barred is exactly the chicken I am describing, our Duckie. Let me tell you, she can get very vocal when she sees or hears ice, she believes it is all hers
