Chicken-to-cat transfer of disease?

I have had to bring my hen into the house after I bathed her. Do I have to be concerned about any possible disease/illness being transferred to my cat?

Most diseases - and even most parasites - are species specific. While there are some that can be transferred - e.g. Avian Flu - *most* cannot. I would not be too concerned that your hen will make your cat sick.
