Chicken Toys!!! Fact or Myth

I recently began my chicken adventure and I am wondering if there are any toys( balls chain string etc) that any of you have used or known of chickens playing with for amusement...any responses would be greatly appreciated Thanks MayorB

I'd avoid things that can be swallowed such as balls and strings.

Just a pile of leaves, a half a mellon, shavings sprinkled with bugs, crickets, and corn would keep them entertained and happy!

I throw poopcorn balls out for my ducks and chicken. I got them 18 for a buck.

Hang a head of lettuce or cabbage on a string or chain. They will amuse themselves while getting something green this time of year when grass is scarce.
