Chicken treats

Good morning chicken lovers I'm just curious as to what everyone gives their birds as a treat. I give mine watermelon or mealworms. Just looking for other great ideas to keep my 25 girls happy .

Watermelon and cantaloupe are big favorites in season. So are grapes, especially concord grapes. The girls get a couple handfuls of black soldier fly larvae and scratch first thing in the morning.

Greetings!

We give them pretty much any leftovers or table scraps that are safe for them to eat, and not too much. Their favourites are watermelon, radish greens, blueberries, soldier fly worms, and sometimes cabbage.

Hello! Welcome to BYC! I give ours, meal worms, organic scratch grains, kale, beet greens, cantaloupe, watermelon, popcorn, dandelion leaves, some table scraps, cucumbers, squash, pumpkin, cabbage, tomatoes, apples, spinach! Of course many of these are seasonal from our big garden!
