Chicken tried to hang herself. Need some advice

The ortho. used acrylic in my mouth and although it tastes awful it didn't stick to anything in my mouth! I think if you can buy acrylic for fake nails and put it on the bottom of her beak it might work for a little bit! Just remember for it to stick you will want to lightly sand around the hole before you put it on there, if you don't it will just come right off! I say a fingernail dremel would work well as long as you don't forget the area will get hot if you sand too long! Good luck!

I think a two-part epoxy putty would be a more permanent fix than acrylic nail repair. It's commonly found in the hardware aisle of grocery stores or any hardware store. One part's blue the other is yellow; you knead a pea sized piece of each color together until it turns green, then it's ready to use.

Probably also sanding the beak lightly before applying it, and drying the beak too so the epoxy will adhere correctly. You can smooth it so it fills the hole and doesn't leave a large lump underneath the beak.

Epoxy is inert after it hardens. Unless she's planning on putting her beak in the dishwasher, the epoxy should last her the rest of her life.
