A good way to check what color egg a chicken will lay is the earlobe...if it's white, it'll lay white eggs. If it's red, it'll most likely lay brown eggs. Unless it's an Ameraucana or Araucana. Then it will lay green or blue eggs.

Silkies are a breed that have many special qualities- they have barb-less feathers (producing a "furry" appearance), black skin, meat, and bones, and turquoise earlobes.

Frizzled chickens can occur in any breed, and are caused by a mutation. Only 1/4 of all birds from a Frizzle/Frizzle crossing will be show-quality frizzles.
