My favourite chicken Chips is not able to stand or walk, plus one of her wing seems to be paralized. I wonder if hat it could be?
It started 4 weeks ago with a twisted beak that became a twisted neck and lack of balance. We treated her for wry neck and she slowly improved her neck but her balance got worse and now she is unable to stand. One leg seems completely gone.
I thought she had Marek disease but she still eating well and still alive.
At one point we realised she was starving because the other chickens were not allowing her to eat ( she is a pulley). She is in isolation, eating well, having extra doses of vitamins and we gave her so antibiotics just in case.
What else can I do? She is my absolute favourite but she is not walking and when she falls she can not sit back!

It could well be Mareks disease, but only testing or a necropsy after death would confirm that. Did you treat her wry neck with vitamins E and thiamine? Imbalance and weakness in legs or wings, and wry neck can all be signs of Mareks. I probably would keep her with the flock inside a wire dog crate with food and water for company. If she has Mareks they would already be exposed, but she could shed the virus if she has it. Make sure that she can reach food and water or feed her 2-3 times a day. What state are you in? If you lose her, I would consider getting a necropsy by the state vet who could give a diagnosis.

I thought is was Marek, but it has been 4 weeks already. I treated her with vitamins but it did not help. One day she was better and left with the others chickens and she was attacked.
she still eats and drinks, but is very slowly getting worse.
We are in Australia.
Thanks!
