Chicken very sick and ill, other one had same symptoms and died

Wait a bit after she layer the egg to see if she got a bit better.
We took her to the vet yesterday, and she had too much fluid in her crop and too much fluid in her belly. That was most definitely my fault because I gave her too much water. They also said she had tumors, so they gave her the needle and put her to sleep.

Fluid in the abdomen was likely caused by the tumors and/or organ failure, you didn't cause that. When there's inflammation or fluid accumulating in the body (in her case in the abdomen), this will make it where other bodily functions are blocked or greatly reduced/slowed. Fluid in the abdomen will often cause a lot of pressure on the digestive system and make it where the crop can't empty. So, this is not your fault.
I understand it's hard to think about it, but your sweet hen had something going on for a while. They are very good at hiding these things. It's sad but finding fluid and tumors in the abdomen of laying hens is fairly common. The crop filling with fluid due to this is a common symptom seen as well. Doesn't make it any easier, but I've seen this in one of my own hens. Just know, you didn't cause this.
