To make a long story very short - and if you want the long version please read this:

I just installed watering nipples on my 5 gallon bucket designed to be mounted horizontally. They work great! And, because they are spring loaded, no leaks.

I'm trying to gauge from the BYC community whether this nipple would be something they'd be interested in. I'm planning on making a large purchase (1000+).

Any comments?

I'm planning on selling for $1.75 a piece. Covers the cost of import and shipping.

I just put them on my bucket. Works like a charm horizontally.!

I was about to ask where to buy them! Are they not something you can get piecemeal already?

I've looked for similar products here in the US. The closest place I found was a little hardware store up in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The supplier confirmed that he did not have any US distribution. I think they are such a great option for watering that I'm going to order 1000 red ones.

They've worked very well - and the spring gives me peace of mind about leaks...

Do you have any pictures of your bucket? Also do you have any for sale? Thank you.

I just ordered these for use with my CX chicks from the get-go (day old). I'll post pix and a review when they're installed.
