Chicken wattle keeps getting stuck

Is there an injury to her wattle at the base closest to her head?

I was going to ask how the wattle could possibly make its way into her mouth without her violently shaking/swinging her head back and forth. Does she do that?

Her pupil does appear malformed in that pic.

Not exactly the same, but my turkey toms would always accidentally eat their snoods when they were eating out of the bowl. They wouldn't tuck it up and it would get shoveled into their mouths

I can see that easily happening! Goofy turkeys!

No she does not shake her head violently. She is an ex- battery hen and she has always been blind in one eye, and struggles to see out the other. The darkening of the comb could be the picture, however she does have a couple of cuts on it from when a chicken pecked her. She does not have an injury on the wattle.
