chicken wheezing sounds like breathing is difficult

Here is a video of what she sounds like. I tried feeding her bread soaked with olive oil. She won't eat it but when she was outside she was eating grass and worms. We have had cold and rainy weather lately. I just noticed her this morning. She will be one year old in June. We have two other hens and they seems fine.

She sounds stridorous, like she has something in her airway, such as mucus or a piece of feed. Sometimes that can clear up in a few hours, but if it persists, she may have a respiratory infection. Those are usually accompanied by watery or foamy eyes, runny nostrils, and cough or sneezing. Respiratory diseases can be from mold fungus, viruses, or bacterial infections. Let us know if it clears up.

She's back to normal now. I did start her on antibiotics.

Thank you for posting this. I am glad she is getting better! My husband keeps telling me our 11 week old chick is sick because her voice changed. But she doesn't make any noise while breathing and seems to be acting fine. She just kind of sounds like her voice has gotten raspy or goose-like. But not while she is breathing. I will show him this video so he can see the difference. Hope she is 100% soon.
