Hello
I have two hens one sussex light and a silver sussex. I bought the silver sussex at the weekend as a companion to Harriet.. All is ok except the new hen, Hilary, will not go to the coop to roost she keeps finding a spot in the garden to snuggle down! I have never had this before as my hens have always just followed each other in. I have found her and put her in the coop each time. It has only been two days since I got her so do you think she will eventually get the message? Hilary is young and Harriet has excreted her authority already.
The coop and run are small as they have free run of the garden during the day and have free access to the coop for laying and shelter.
I look forward to your advice
Thanks
