Chicken wire or hardware cloth

I found some hardware cloth on Amazon. 4 ft by 100 ft. 23 gauge. This will be put over other chicken wire we already have (otherwise, I would have bought a stronger gauge.) I feel pretty good about this.

Just got 1/2" Hardware Cloth 48" x 100 foot for $65.22 a roll on Amazon. Bout 2 and a 1lb bag of clips and pliers...

Is 1/4 inch hardware cloth too dense for a run for airflow?

Sorry... It is a 50 foot roll for that price.

Still WAY better than Home Depot. 25 foot roll was $56..... I bought two rolls from Amazon so I think that's where I came up with 100'.
