So, I've heard a ton of bad stuff about chicken wire. But I thought, because of the predators I have here- they only dig, or use their mouths to get it. Very few clawing predators, at least ones that primarily use their claws. I thought maybe weaving barbed wire in and around 1" by 1" chicken wire (not just one strand) would deter predators from eating my duckies. Hurt them, or slow them enough to be shot or scared off by our guard dog. Has anyone tried this?

Don't have the money for that. And they shouldn't injure themselves on the barbs if it's high enough to be above the ducks but at coyote and fox head height. Bears are around but don't bug us. We have a guard dog so hey stay away. @Folly's place
