She healed up just fine. Now she is back like her old self. Although she is one of the oldest girls. 2 years and 1 month old. She is back with the girls that are one or turning one in August. So, just swell thanks for asking.
I’m glad to hear that. I got a blue Araucana with a swollen face. No nose discharge, smell, just puffy. She is the only one sick. I’m giving her oxi, power cell and Oxine vaporizer. I’m not sure if she will make it. She is very lethargic.
How does one look inside a chickens ear?!
Gather up your hen. When she's calm, gently pull the little tuft of feathers at her ear forward, you will see her ear canal. It should look relatively clean with no pus, bugs or gunk.
