Chicken with bony wings?!

I’m curious what the feather fixer is? Do you have an ingedrient list @KayisforKale ?
Please keep us informed @LindsayDarling if will it help to regrow the wing feathers.

No experience with the Ajam Cemani breed and looked on a few sites for info: The Ajam Cemani is a descendant of game fowl.
From https://www.kippenpagina.nl/kippenrassen/ayam-cemani.html and translated with google:
Ayam Cemani is a temperamental breed. With a lot of attention, they become very affectionate and they respond alertly to their caretaker.
However, they will always be wary of strangers and unexpected events.
Unfortunately I do not have the ingredients list. I can, however, post a link to it from Amazon. TSC's site seems to be having trouble at the moment...

Feather fixer helps the bird grow good feathers when they are molting. The bird in question has feather damage. The feathers don't just grow back when damaged like this or if the shaft breaks. They have to be pulled out or naturally pushed out when the molt starts.

Thanks. I add it in my bookmark list.
I can compare this with the organic pellet feed (when my chickens molt) to see what ingredient is missing.
A list with the actual ingredients like: wheat, corn, etc. Would probably be more helpful. Because this will be a puzzle to make.

Btw: I live in Europe and can’t buy at TSC and never buy from Ama-zon. Principal decision. (i don’t support the richest on earth who abuse the world and it’s inhabitants if I can avoid it.)

And thanks @DobieLover , always nice to have a experienced educator responding in such threads.

It's basically a layer feed, from a big company, with a bit of extra protein and a fancy name.
Most of the layer feeds in the US have 16% protein, but the feather fixer has 18% protein.

The ingredients list is way down the page. It isn't anything special-- about the same as any other layer feed, chick starter, meat bird feed, etc. Corn & soybeans are among the main ingredients.

Thanks NatJ, DobieLover also made it clear to me too. 👍

They don’t sell all these fancy feed where I live. The organic layer feed here has only about 14% proteins. Even the expensive chick starter for future laying hens doesn’t have over 16% proteins. But the chick pellets for broilers has about 18%. And buying a big bag at the mill, it was way cheaper than the one at the animal&gardening store.
My chicks get the broiler pellets now as a mash (with water).

ℹ️
Good to know the broiler feed is perfect when my hens start to mould after the summer.

If you want to boost their protein content you can start adding the broiler mash now. I've been feeding half broiler mash and half chick starter for about a year now to save on costs. Their average feed protein content is 20%.
