Just got this white giant not 2 days ago and found this

It is crossed, and I don't know it it can eat. Looks in pain. Won't shut up. Poor baby. Gonna try to syringe feed him, no tube.
I think our Tom did this, any ideas what to do? Should I put it back in proper alignment? We have gauze

You could try adding water to feed,make into a mash(consistency of oatmeal)easier for chick to eat.

He's dying. Couldn't keep him in the house, found him in a little ditch. Rigamortis was setting in, he's under a heat lamp, lets see what happens

He is already DEAD,if rigamortis(stiffening of dead body) has set in.

He's still alive, but very stiff. Honestly it seems rigamortis sets in before birds are dead. Not sure what else to call it but 'dead' birds with 'rigamortis' seem to be able to come back fairly easily under a heat lamp.

ok,then there is no rigamortis,cannot set in if chick is alive. He was outside? He needs electrolytes,and vitamins. Has chick eaten or drank anything?

do a search for cross beak. There is a thread for support if you really want to baby it and keep it alive. You will most likely have to hand feed it all of it's life if it is that bad. I have a crossbeak roo but he can eat on his own, we just have to trim him occassionally as the beak doesn't wear down like other chickens.

On a side note, we just got llamas. I started a thread on it if you would care to join and pass on any advise.
