Chicken with eye issue

My nearly 2-year-old bantam chicken seems to be blind.
She keeps one of her eyes closed most of the time, the pupil looks grey.
The other is open but I don't think she actually sees anything through that eye, it also has a grey circle in the pupil.

Last couple of days we noticed she wouldn't really move except for eating.
We decided to take her inside for a while.
Outside she knows where the food and water are, but the cage inside is new for her.
That's when we noticed she doesn't really see anything.

She eats normally, drinks normally, poop seems normal but she leaves her wings hanging and can't fly, and she spends most of the day just sleeping.
Last week she was sneezing, and her nostrils seem a bit blocked but other than that we didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Will she ever regain her vision? Is there anything we can do to help her get better? Any advice is welcome!

Poor girl. I’m not an expert at diseases whatsoever, but I know Ocular Marek’s can cause blindness. I don’t know what this is though, because this is not my forte, so I tagged a few members that hopefully can help you figure out what’s going on.

How is the ventilation inside your coop? Is there an ammonia odor from droppings and bedding? It looks like she has cataracts in both eyes. Is there any drainage or gunk in either eye?

Cataracts can be common in chickens. Some possibilities for eye issues in poultry can include vitamin deficiencies of A or E, injuries, infections, ammonia toxicity, past exposure to avian encephalitis (epidemic tremors,) and Mareks disease.

Having food and water in the same places in familiar setting is the best way to handle blindness.

There is not much ventilation in the coop, but they spend their days outside free ranging in the garden. Should we add more ventilation to the coop then?
Can cataracts heal? Both eyes looks clear, the only thing that seems off is the grey color.
