Chicken with low metabolism

My chicken is three years old, and I see that she has very low metabolism these days. She looks well fed and has good plumage, but she sits around most of the day. She rarely gets up to scratch for food, and seems tired all the time. Is there anything that I can do for her so that she gets her energy back? Thank you

Feel of her breast area for any weight loss, and of the lower abdomen for swelling or tight skin that could be from fluid retention. Check her crop to see if it is puffy and balloon-like or hard, and then check again in the morning to see if it has emptied. Worm her if she has not recently been wormed, with Valbazen 1/2 ml orally and repeat in 10 days. A vet can also do a fecal float on several of her droppings to determine if there are worms. In older hens, internal laying, egg yolk peritonitis, and salpingitis can be common, especially if not laying or laying irregularly.
