Chicken with one eye

Just wanted to update everyone on my girl. She's gotten comfortable and seems to be taking over the flock. We took them some chilled watermelon...one of the others took a piece away from her and she took it back. She also pecked one of the hens who got in front of her in line to the coop until she fell off the ramp. And last night she had a couple of other hens hanging around her looking friendly. I'm thinking she's good to go now. Thank you all for your advise.

I have a one eyed BCM rooster. When he was a chick, he lost his eye to an infection. He has a caregiver brother roo that was raised with him, and this guy sees to him as if he were just another one of the hens, although he allows my blind eye guy to mate....actually encourages and roots him on when he does LOL which is awesome because my blind in the one eye guy is an excellent speciman of the breed. Even more so than his brother. I love them both and plan to always keep them together with their flock of BCM girls. My biggest plus is that they are both sweetie boys, and I can pick either of them up from any point at anytime.
