My chicken Lucy, has a pasty butt. Other chickens from the flock died because of it. So, I gave her 0.6cc of antibiotics (Liquamycin) because she weighed 6 pounds. Is that the right amount? Also, when should I give it to her again? I am so lost, I researched and found a million different dosage amounts. Which one is good for her? Please help!

What do you mean, a pasty butt? How old is she? Why are you giving her antibiotics?

She has some poop on her butt that looks a little watery. She is about 2 years old. I am giving her antibiotics because a few chickens have died because of it and that is what I found is a solution to do online. Is it right? I am a new chicken owner so I have no idea what to do. Please help!

I'm just not understanding why you'd give antibiotics without knowing what you're treating.
What were all the symptoms of the other chickens?

I gave her antibiotics because it helped one the other chickens that had it, but I did not give her another dose, and she died. I am wanting to save this one. The other chickens that died started off with a poopy butt, then had diarrhea, then started acting sick and then died. The last chiken that died was given electrolytes every day and I tried all I could. Now I think I need information from someone who knows more. Thank you for helping

When you say "poop on her butt", is this just poop on the feathers? Or is the vent actually stopped up?

Either way, I would probably start by just trying to clean her up and see if that sorts things out.
I think it is just poop on the feathers.
Ok, I will clean her and see if it works. I am just scared because other chickens have died from it

Is she still laying eggs and pooping as usual? Anything unusual about the poop or eggs?
Any change in behavior?
Any change in diet recently? Are many treats being given?
I know she is pooping, but the poop is more watery than usual. She has been acting normal, and eating normal, her comb is still bright red. She has had no change in diet and she has not been given treats lately

You never want to use antibiotics on chickens unless you have a diagnosis or know what you are treating. Clean up the vent area with a butt bath if the chicken is not too weak and unstable. Look carefully for any irritation, prolapses, etc. Is the chicken lethargic, eating or drinking. Poop pictures can help. What does the crop feel like—empty and flat, full, hard, doughy, or puffy. Is it emptying by the next morning? Can you try giving some electrolytes with vitamins and get her drinking. Have you ever wormed your chickens? How old are the chickens that are sick or have died? Most state vets will perform a necropsy (autopsy.) That is the best way to know if you have a disease in your flock.

If she is acting normal and eating, drinking, it doesn’t sound like antibiotics are necessary.
