chicken with swolling eye

please tell me why my chicken's eye is swolling shut and hard she can not open the eye and can not make noise.any info please asap at 615-446-0302 thank you

If not, can you tell us more about your chicken? Age, type, conditions, any other symptoms?

What you can do is flush saline solution {contact lens cleaner} into the eye. You may have to pry the eye open. If the eye will not open than try placing a warm cloth onto eye until the eye opens. After that apply terramycin ointment into the eye. You can get this product at the feed store or vets office. Repeat these steps several times a day. Hopefully this will solve your problem.
