Chicken with Worms?

Ok I plan on using the wazine in the morning. Are you sure that the 2 oz. for 1 gal won't kill my 2 hens? Also should I leave the wazine water in their coop all day. After they are wormed when should I wormthem again with wazine?

I had to refresh my memory by looking at one of my bottles. If you use 2 oz in a gallon you may just kill them. Use 1/4 oz (1/2 Tablespoon) in a quart waterer or 1 oz per gallon of water. Worm again 10 days later with a different wormer like Wormazole. It is safe, effective and kills any other worms your birds may have, including tapes, for about $20 and you can worm them all year long on a schedule. I do it Spring, Summer, and late Fall. Others may have different schedules depending on where they live.

Ok thank you! I will worm them in the morning

ok so i wormed them this morning with wazine 17, i did the right amount and my hen with worms drank quite a bit of water. a little while later i went to check on them and she was in the nesting box, and has been for almost 2 hours now but no egg, and she hasnt layed an egg for about a month now. She acted broody when i went to move her to check for an egg but she has never gone broody before and there is no rooster. Also she is just laying in the box now. Any ideas of what could be causing this, maybe the wormer? or maybe she is broody? has anyone else ever had this happen after their hens are wormed for the first time??

Wow that's strange! Never happened to me. My hens always look a bit sick though after I worm them with chemical wormers. If you put a golf ball in front of her does she tuck it under herself like an egg?
