One of my girls nearly fell over when I gave her pets yesterday so I brought her inside to see why she was unstable on her feet. I found a big hole on her butt. I cleaned her as best as I could and have kept her inside away from my other girls so she stays warm, calm and clean while I try to figure out if I can help her. She has eaten and drank but she isn’t moving around much.
Any ideas as to what could have caused this or how I can help her?

Welcome to the site, so sorry it is under these circumstances. I agree with @Ingrid_Grace about that possibly being from fly strike. You will need to get any and all maggots out. Let me tag an educator. I don’t have much experience or knowledge about treating fly strike. @Wyorp Rock
@Eggcessive

If this just seems to be a wound, you will want to rinse it well with saline or something like Vetericyn and then coat in a triple antibiotic ointment like neosporin, but make sure it’s the kind without pain relief.

Welcome To BYC

Is there a way to get a photo of the hole from the bottom (looking into the wound)?

I agree, it does look like a wound from Flystrike, but hard to know. Inspect the wound carefully for any maggots.
