Chicken won’t open eyes and can’t stand NEED HELP!!!

How old is the hen? Do you have other chickens, if so, how many? How long have you had this hen? Is she new to the flock? If so, how long have you had her and where did she come from? Can you post a pic of her poo? What do you feed, including treats? How long has she been like this?

Oh also, does she lay eggs? When is the last time she laid one? Have you felt down around her belly between her legs to see if she feels like she is egg-bound (has an egg stuck)?

Please answer some of the questions in posts 13 and 14 if you can. I would not try to force her to take water. It is safer to hold a small cup or lid up to her beak to take water onnher own. Cannyou tell us a little about her, if she was low in pecking order or if she has not been feeling well lately? What do you feed her? Sorry that she has not been feeling well.

How long has she been like this? All day today or for more than one day? What part of the day if just today, Morning, Afternoon or After sunset?

She has been like this for about two days but she was doing better yesterday she was just laying down and she wasn’t moving yesterday but her eyes were open and she ate some food. It happened in the afternoon yesterday

She is around 1 year old. I have 11 other chickens. I’ve had her since she was a chick. She is not new to the flock. I’ve had her since she was about a week old and she I got her from grange coop along with some of the other chickens. I will upload a picture of the food I use and the treats I use. She hasn’t been pooping and she has been like this for about two days if not three.

Okay. Thank you for the tips, I will definitely be using them! The problem is that she won’t move and drink water on her own because her eyes are closed. She is kind of in the middle of the pecking order. She has not been feeling well lately and we noticed it about three days ago. I will upload a picture of the food I use.

Yes, she lays eggs but I don’t think she has laid one very recently. I will try to check if she is egg-bound but what am I suppose to feel if she is egg-bound? Would I be able to feel the egg in her belly?
