Chicken won’t open eyes and can’t stand NEED HELP!!!

Yes, she lays eggs but I don’t think she has laid one very recently. I will try to check if she is egg-bound but what am I suppose to feel if she is egg-bound? Would I be able to feel the egg in her belly?

Yes, you might feel a lump in her belly between her legs. Also, if you are up to it, lubricate a finger (with an exam glove if you have one) with KY Jelly or petroleum jelly and try to gently insert your finger into her vent up to first knuckle. If you cannot, she may be egg-bound. If you can take her into a warm place, try giving her bottom a soak in warm water with Epsom salts dissolved in it. See if she will soak 10-15 min. Try to give her a human Tums, break in half and stuff it in her beak. The calcium may help her pass the egg if she has one stuck. Good luck! Oh - use a hair dryer on low to dry her bottom gently before putting her back outside!

She sort of pooped and it was on her tail when we picked her up since she was laying on it but this is what it looks like

I am pretty positive that she is egg bound because she started shaking and then her bottom half was shaking. I also looked up the symptoms for being egg bound and all of the descriptions fit what she was doing! She does not move and she will not eat, her legs are wobbly and she can’t stand, she’s sort of fluffed up, and she looks sick or “depressed”

How long have you fed this brand? It doesn’t look like she’s digesting it.
From what I’m reading on the Rogue site this feed is meant for supplement to forage for grazing livestock at the rate of 1/2 pound to 100 pounds of animal weight. Not for sheep.
You may want to contact Rogue to be sure it’s really ok to feed for poultry.

The complete B would be the better supplement to give. Give 1/2 tablet daily in a little food or a spoonful of water. Could ahe have suffered a prolapsed vent or be egg bound or both? Under the poop, I would clean off the poop to see if there is a prolapse. Then insert a clean or gloved finger inside the vent to feel for an obstruction or stuck egg. This is what a prolapsed vent looks like, and sometimes there can be an egg stuck as well.

please take her to the vet she is clearly very ill and im assuming didn't make it but if she is still like this go to the vet asap!!

Chicken seems really sick and is dying. She is breathing but she won’t open her eyes and she can’t stand. She won’t drink water or eat anything. She has been laying down in our chicken coop hiding and we brought her inside. We gave her water but we had to open her mouth and squeeze water out of a dropper into her mouth. She swallowed the water and makes little movement. Only moves her head to swallow the water but her eyes are still closed. She has watery eyes when we open them. She can still hold her head up a little bit it is a little droopy. PLEASE SEND HELP!!!!

What ended up happening? I've got a rooster, same exact situation except he's been like this for days. I think he's knocking on deaths door.
