chicken won't leave nest

1 of My chicken won't leave here nest but is not laying If i take her off the nest so that she can eat she starts terrorizing the rest of the flock litteraly pulling out the others feathers and trying to harm them. At my wits end can anyone help please

She's broody. If you don't want her to hatch eggs (and with her behavior you probably don't, if she's this bad now she'll be worse when she feels she has to defend her chicks) lock her in a wire bottomed cage that's elevated to allow air flow underneath her with food and water for a couple days. Let her out. If she goes back to the nest, put her back in the cage again until she gets the idea and stops trying to brood.
